Piet Hein Eek has created two plate collections for Royal Delft, Stripped Delft Blue and Stripped Polychrome.

The two collections are in traditional Delft blue and are the result of a design project commissioned by interior magazine Gouden Woonboek. Every year the editors of the magazine ask a designer to realise a new project, this year they asked Piet Hein Eek to work with the famous factory.

Royal Delft is the last remaining Delftware factory from the 17th century still producing entirely handmade Delftware. Eek didn't hesitate to take on the task 'The right ingredients were there; material, tradition and craftsmanship. The only thing I had to do was to think of something that fitted the story'. The collections are available via the Royal Delft website. Prices range from €47-€347.
