Delft Industrial Design Engineers on show in London

Six Delft Industrial Design Engineers will be presenting their graduation projects at the ‘Made in Brunel’ exhibition to be held in London, 10-12 June 2008.

Six Delft Industrial Design Engineers will be presenting their graduation projects at the ‘Made in Brunel’ exhibition to be held in London, 10-12 June 2008.

Designs that contribute to solutions
Now in its eighteenth year 'Made in Brunel’ is a platform for designs that help solve major problems in the modern world, such as climate change and health, transport and safety issues. The exhibition is an opportunity for students of Industrial Design Engineering to showcase their projects and meet potential investors. ‘Made in Brunel’ will be held from 10 to 12 June in the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.

Six designers

Six Industrial Design Engineers who have just graduated from TU Delft have been selected to present their designs at the exhibition:

* Helma van Rijn (language toy for children with autism (LINKX))
* Bjorn van der Broek (inflatable emergency hospital)
* Sanne Kistemaker (Piece of Family)
* Marijn Bouwman (university museum)
* Femke de Jonge (Fat boy Brand Experience)
* Neele Kistemaker (interior of the C,mm,n car of the future)

The students from Delft will be joined by fellow industrial designers from Brunel University, Tsinghua University in Peking, the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras and the Rhode Island School of Design in the US.
