United Crystal Woods
Channelling the natural world, Marcel Wanders has dreamed up 'United Crystal Woods', a collection of vases, wine glasses and candlesticks complete with a family of deer for French crystal company Baccarat.
Marcel Wanders puts his extravagant romantic touch to crystal with a new series of products for Baccarat.
Inspired by elements of the forest, the collection includes 'La Forêt des Songes' (Forest of Dreams) interchangeable vases and candlesticks on a solid lace-etched crystal base and 'Les Rois de la Forêt' (Kings of the Forest) which are monumental cut vases made with a solid brass base. Working with a oenologist, Wanders created the wine glasses for 'L’Ivresse des Bois' (Woods of Euphoria) featuring a Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne glass and carafes while the pinnacle of the collection 'Les Esprits des Bois' (Spirits of the Woods) sees several sizes of deer fashioned from stainless steel, topped with antlers made of crystal candle holders or vases.
