Now in its eighth year, Tuttobene will present a crop of Dutch designers who are out to prove that industrial design can have a more sustainable production process.
Eighth group presentation offers great diversity
This year during Milan Design Week, Tuttobene will once again stage a group presentation showcasing a wide diversity in design.
From 12 to 17 April, designers will exhibit work that is the result of a sustainable production chain. A lot of the work is industrial and applicable on a
Products range from a Sheep Chair and Tex-Tiles that combine bathroom tiles with LED lighting, to 3D printed design and laser-cut chandeliers.
The exhibition as a whole shows that Dutch designers are ahead of the game when it comes to increasing the sustainability of the production process and that substantial progress is being made with designs that are suitable for a larger market.
It provides ongoing design insight disguised as tables, chairs, lamps and numerous other objects.
The 2011 edition showcases fourteen designers: Barbara Vos, Collective Paper Aesthetics, Hendrik', Jolanda van Goor, Laurien Oversier, Louise Cohen, Melle Koot, Melt Interieur, Temporary collective Teun & Floris, Studio Jacob de Baan, Studio Sjoerd Jonkers, Tanja Soeter, Vormstudio and Willem Schilder.
This year, Tuttobene has chosen a new location near the Corso Como, in the city centre of Milan. This area has a high concentration of presentations, including Droog, Palau, Henk Stallinga and Stortplaats van Dromen.
Tuttobene will open its doors at 14 Via Maroncelli on Tuesday, 12 April.
