American design producer Artecnica will launch its LA showroom on October 10 led by special guest and frequent Artecnica collaborator Tord Boontje.

On 10 October 2008, American design producer Artecnica will launch its new Los Angeles showroom. The special guest will be long time Artecnica collaborator Tord Boontje who will give a lecture along with Artecnica CEO and co-creative director Enrico Bressan. Their talk will discuss the intensive design and manufacturing procedures involved in Artecnica’s numerous collaborations with Boontje. Additionally, never-before-seen prototypes of Boontje’s work will be on display for the evening.

The lecture will also feature a preview of Boontje’s newest products for Artecnica's artisan-crafted sustainable product line 'Design with Conscience': Witches’ Kitchen™, a cookware collection inspired by the witches and wizards of western lore, and the tranSglass® mirrors, a follow-up to his recycled glass tranSglass® vases.
