Newsletter #288 – Milan special

This week on Design.nl we report to you from the Salone del Mobile in Milan where the emphasis this time round was on process and materials. We speak with Studio Drift about their latest research into synthetic Obsidian, a process that recycles and reuses chemical waste to create a stunning mirror object. Also this week we take a look at what design schools are presenting this year in Milan, from Utopian visions of the future to breeding grounds for creativity.
