This week on Design.nl we visit three brand-new exhibitions. The Zuiderzee Museum in Enhuizen and designers from Glithero present a marriage of craft in Made to Measure. Over at the Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde in Leiden, Kossmann.dejong take us on a journey to Mecca as we look at the sacred rite of the hajj. At MAK museum in Vienna, Formafantasma have reinterpreted a number of previous projects. Also, Timo de Rijk has left his gig at the Vrije University and has been appointed full professor of the new Design, Culture & Society chair between Delft University of Technology and Leiden University, and PIVOT has come up with an interesting social intervention focussing on shared ownership - a design topic we are sure to hear much more about in the coming years.
