Newsletter #252

This week on Design.nl we speak to Garech Stone, one of the Stone Twins who have headed up the Man and Communication department at the Design Academy Eindhoven for the last five years. This week they announced that they will resign the post at the end of the current school year. Matylda Krzykowski tells us about CLASH, the part of Fashionclash that may surprise you the most and we visit the International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont where Metahaven presents its life-sized chess game. We also look back at one of the most entertaining events at the recent What Design Can Do conference - Next Nature. Here an important debate is growing about morality, science and design. And last but not least we speak with to eager young businessmen who are not letting the crisis get in the way of their plans for a successful design brand named Puik Art.
