This week on Design.nl, in the run-up to the design conference What Design Can Do, we speak with initiator and designer Richard van der Laken. A new book expounding on the ideas and designs of Maria Blaisse will be released next week and we take a look at Piet Hein Eek's latest design for champagne brand Ruinart. We also talk to Merel Karhof whose fascinating work with windmills has extended to include a range of furniture objects and congratulate Mattijs van Bergen with his Woolmark Prize nomination.
