Copy Culture and Open Source Design were the big themes at DMY last week with the release of Open Design Now. German students presented a fabulous project where they each copied a piece of important or iconic design, but it was DAE graduate Dirk vander Kooij was one of the main winners with his work "Endless". Also this week Design.nl attends the opening of Arnhem Mode Biennale, designs a tree for the make a forest project and takes a closer look at Hella Jongerius' latest project; a table for HSBC.

Make A Forest
Designers, artists and creatives from around the globe are invited to design an artificial tree. The goal? Create a culturally diverse forest and raise awareness along the way.
