For our third Dutch Design Double update, we popped into Inside Design Amsterdam to talk with two young talents - Ontwerpduo and Jo Meesters. At this years' Picnic, the difficult topic of open source design was tackled by philosopher Jos de Mul. It's an ongoing debate and De Mul didn't so much clear things up, as contribute more material for everyone to consider. More co-creation action happened at the Instructables Restaurant where visitors got their hands dirty with recipes for design DIY. We also visit more London Design Festival events, look at tableware inspired by lunar landscapes and feature some fascinating textile experiments which are the main stars of the reTHINK! exhibition currently showing at the Audax Textielmuseum in Tilburg.
