Event date: 22-04-2009 to 27-04-2009

Beauty is more than skin deep.

Goods will be launching products from Maria Blaisse, Tina Roeder, Henk Stallinga, Dick van Hoff, Robert Bronwasser, Ton Haas and Ine van der Elsen. New to the market are Stack, Lazy Love and Happy Porcelain. The Stallinga Collection is known to the market, but new to the Goods collection.

The idea of 'Face value' will be represented by a project from Design Academy graduate (2008) Ine van de Elsen. The contemporary way of thinking about beauty and beauty ideals and the radical influence this has on the lives of many (young) people was a central focus point for Van den Elsen's graduation project. Her 'Unmasking' project was an experiment whereby young people's faces were worked on with clay masks and the wrinkles which formed as a result of their facial expressions were recorded in a beautiful series of portrait photographs. She has designed a special publication regarding her project for Goods which will be presented at the exhibition.
