Recently, Kuilman was initiator of the four-year strategic program Dutch Fashion Design Architecture (DutchDFA) where sector institutes and industry associations in design, fashion and architecture collaborate to strengthen the international position of The Netherlands as a design country.
Finally, Kuilman was involved in the setting up of the Premsela Department at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam dedicated to the scientific study of the cultural aspects of design and fashion.
Premsela will soon begin the process of appointing a new director.
