Casa Rotterdam at Torino World Design Capital

The Netherlands will be represented at the upcoming International Design Casa during Torino 2008 World Design Capital by Casa Rotterdam, a pavillion curated by Rotterdam's VIVID Gallery.

International Design Casa, 6-13 November 20008

As a major event of the year-long design event Torino 2008 World Design Capital, the International Design Casa happening from 6-13 November aims to give a snapshot of what's happening in design around the world and open up a comparison between the design culture of Torino and Italy, and other cities and countries around the world.

The Netherlands will be represented by Casa Rotterdam which will be an exhibition curated by Rotterdam's VIVID Gallery. The Dutch designers represented will be Bas van Beek, Frank Bruggeman, Demakersvan, Richard Hutten, Hella Jongerius, Chris Kabel, Joris Laarman, Tomás Gabzdil, Atelier van Lieshout, Minale Maeda, Christien Meindertsma, Bertjan Pot, Vincent de Rijk, Wieki Somers and Studio Makkink & Bey. The exhibition will be held Archivio Di Stato, Via Piave 21. Other nations and regions represented in other exhibitions spread throughout the city include Austria, Belgium, Central and Eastern Europe, France, Japan, Norway, Seoul, Singapore and Spain.
